Moe, I know you mean well, and judging from your language, admittedly you feel very strong about this (a little too strong, I might add, and I'd hate to make assumptions of users, but you seem pretty young, and from the language here, I wouldn't necessarily want a user using this as a 'smoking room'), it's really not worth your time trying to come back on new accounts. It only drags people further into the mud.

This is kind of one of the reasons I walked back from this thread, because it really became just a massive shouting match, accusing other members of 'smelling bad' and blaming others, plus the senseless 'insults' towards other users making valid criticisms of the forum. I gave up fighting because I knew it was a losing battle (I mean, I'm certainly not the first nor last to make criticisms of the current decisions at PC), and I certainly don't want you to waste your energy on this thread, because quite frankly, you're going to look back on this and cringe. Hard.

Might be best to move to spaces that value who you are, rather than wasting it in the places that clearly don't. And that means not posting to Metropol too.
Rude. Rest assured if I want actual friends I'll make them elsewhere
Wasn't trying to be rude, that wasn't my intent, but I wanted to try and be honest with you. I've been where you are right now (especially on TVF), and I know it doesn't end well if you continue to try pushing at something that isn't going to budge. I do genuinely hope you find a space that treats you better.
Will be my final post now, but i well and really cannot find a good place. I am officially only on Roblox (username mini19892021 after my dog) now

I think his rants really ought to be against late stage capitalism, rather than WBD in particular. What they're doing might not necessarily be in the best interests of the fans watching at home, but a chunk of the subs fees does make it to the clubs (and even the wider economy) - though ultimately it's for the benefit of WBD's shareholders.

I normally don't "do" politics and/or economics but I agree from the consumer viewpoint that viewers at home are being shafted royally.

I'm struggling to think of many groups etc outside the clubs that benefit except estate agents, airlines etc.

Is Pres Cafe directing to one of those dodgy typosquatting link sites for anyone else?

Probably getting replaced by an all new Costa Coffee soon... also graffiti supplies? How in the fucking world does that compare?

By the way the page was replaced with "back soon" which it probably won't now that it's been an hour

Those sort of pages tend to appear when either the web hosting or domain name has been temporarily suspended. The usual cause is someone forgetting to pay the renewal invoice, or the automatic card payment failing.

You think an actual person had any involvement in creating that page? How quaint.

Brutal honesty isn’t the same as being rude. You can speak your truth without trying to cut people down... that’s called maturity.

Might be worth giving it a try next time.
