Little help? Bad deinterlacing.

Can't Premiere access all of Photoshop's filters, or am I imagining that?
Doesn't VirtualDub have lots of shmexy deinterlacing options? I wouldn't expect it would completely salvage it, and it's quite possible I'm entirely making this up, but it might be an option....if I'm not just lying.

Yes, you're not going to be able to make good that clip at this stage. Get the original tape.nodnirG kraM wrote:Thanks for the replies, guys. The problem isn't that I don't have a deinterlacing filter to hand, though, rather than that this HDV footage has had 480i lines removed rather than 1080, resulting in the large wibbly effect (technical term, dears, technical term) whenever any bugger moves.
I'm going to admit defeat and hunt down the bastard who lost that tape.
I suppose re-shooting the scene is out the question?
