Alot of music makes me emotional, but after much thought I think this one has the most emotional effect on me:

"China In Your Hand - T'Pau"

I always like the sax solo at the end; which is probably the reason why I like Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty. It's ideal as relaxing music when driving long distances.

A former housemate (and work colleague) in Stockton got me into REM. She called it 'suicide music'; but it didn't stop us surviving the fact that we could sit there listening to it over a litre of 'screw-top' wine, a packet of cheap fags and a box of tissues during times of emotional turmoil for either of us.

I miss those days, but I still have the CDs :lol: (I'm sure they belong to her!)
