I joined TVForum from a link posted on the MHP Mailing List, back when TV pres used to take up a lot of time in my life, so probably four or five years ago. I started browsing Metropol when it was spun off, but didn't sign up for a while. I still don't post very often, and never seem too popular when I do, but I do browse fairly often.

I got lost on the way to Alcoholics Anonymous and this seemed like an ideal substitute to meet with people who have no lives and can barely string a sentence together.

Seems you really did get lost, TVF is back over there... No, that's for people caught on crack. DS might be for you then, we're consummate fellows here.

Again, for the MOST part. Let's put it this way, when the Pilgrims departed all those years ago they forgot to take ONE local family with them.

Ah, right. All I know of the Pilgrims was that they did like candles, not sure how they felt about blue plastic siding.

We've got quite a few Pilgrim members on here, haven't we?

Or is it just quite a few user names?

Quite quickly I got bored of the TV thing, it was a passing whim I suppose. I stuck around to mock those stupider than me and that was mainly in the lounge, then I moved with it when it came here and became so much fabber. As Gav remarked to me a few weeks back, I shouldn't be allowed on TVF since I only watch about an hour a day at the most.

I think I joined TV Forum around 2001 when I started to get fed up of getting 200 emails a day from the MHP Chat mailing list, those were the days.

Joined Metropol in 2004 so I could prove I'm not just interested in Northern Irish continuity announcers and slagging off Look North presenters' fake tans.
