I'll assume you meant "what does..."

I'm not sure to be honest. I heard a song once that was simply four verses, four choruses with the last chorus doubled up. Then on a re-record the third chorus (sadly a better lyrical effort than the last) was omitted in favour of a baritone sax solo (as was the fashion in the late 80s.) The first effort, combined with a strong acoustic guitar-dominated backing track, was much better and flowed a bit more.

In my own songwriting, they usually are just lazy minor key sidenotes that I get through as soon as possible, or an instrumental version of a verse.

Best middle 8s of our time have to be the poignant yet true-to-rock-roots one from Queen's These Are The Days Of Our Lives; the absurd, never ending middle 64 from Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N Roses, and anyone who moans about Have A Nice Day's (Phonics) or A Design For Life (Manics) middle 8s will be taken out and shot!

I always thought Survivor Sucks Off-Topic was similar to Metropol, except more Americanised/Canadianised.

Would that be because it's based in San Francisco rather than the UK perhaps? Are your responses always so lacking in thought and research or are you generally stupid?

1. I said it was Americanised.
2. I said it was similar, not exactly the same.

Do you actually read my posts, or do you just think up your latest insult and spew it out?

Hyma, I know you're reluctant to, but could you add the Friends/Foes function? That way I could block Slagathor's posts, we could all block Barcode's, hell, you could even block mine.

Why would we want to block Barcode's posts?

Gives us all material.

Now what colour material would you recommend for my curtains?

I don't know - orange?

Pick lime green so that the neighbours will complain that it's too bright.
