These days you can take any old piece of crap and come up with some crackpot story about how it is 'art' and you'll be praised to high heaven by the likes of Germaine Greer on Newsnight review.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.
But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

People who say that modern art is crap are obviously ignorant to its intention and message it's trying to convey.
Nearly everything is art, in that it has been designed. Whether it be a tree (designed by non-sentient nature) or a cracked, graffitied urinal in the Tate Modern. It's all art. Just a shame that a lot of people are ignorant.

I'm inclined to disagree just here - to say it's designed implies a certain amount of planning purposefulness, and living things generally happen randomly. By the same token, nature would have to be sentient to be able to plan something.Jamez wrote:Whether it be a tree (designed by non-sentient nature)

No it isn't! The fact that you can get the Tate Modern to pay alot of money to:Jamez wrote:It's still art, though.

Get real people! It's pure farce and the joke is on us!

The real question: if it's empty, how can it be full of steam?StuartPlymouth wrote:No it isn't! The fact that you can get the Tate Modern to pay alot of money to:Jamez wrote:It's still art, though.
"exhibit" a light switching on and off
an "empty box filled with steam"
a crack in the floor.
