Anyone know anything about this service?
http://www.blockstatus.com/msn/stchecker
Apparently if you log in with your MSN address, this service can check if a particular contact has blocked you, or if they just haven't been online for a while. However, it says it accesses your password details, etc, so I am reluctant to use it.
Anyone had any experience of this or similar services?

Yes I don't understand people who want to use Block Checkers - after all, if you're being blocked by your contacts, it's for a reason.Ant wrote:Alternatively, you could just make sure you don't get blocked at all!nodnirG kraM wrote:Ask the person if they've blocked you!
A lot of online block checkers used to work, but I'm pretty sure a change in MSNP a while back made that either impossible or much harder, which in a way has worked out better for the spyware and scammer types since they can offer all these seemingly wonderful block checkers that demand your Live ID credentials only to piss all over your face.
Another way to do it is by opening MSN Messenger (or Windows Live Messenger), click on File then Options.
Somewhere in the list is a list of people in your contacts list (and those that have hadded you) and also those you have blocked - and blocked you.
Oh, never give your MSN address or password to e-messenger as it sends wierd adverts to people on your list. I did it and my 90-yr old aunt recieved an email asking her if she'd like a penis enlargement and that I'd suggested she'd get one!
Happy New Year one and all
