Freda Payne - Band Of Gold (no, I haven't a clue either)

However, if I'd been born +/- a couple of months, I could have had Mungo Jerry - In the Summertime, Elvis Presley - The Wonder of You, or Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child!

Doctor & The Medics - Spirit In The Sky

Im not a fan of this song but I like the number ones either side of it. Before it was the Chicken Song - Spitting Image and after it was Madonna - Papa Dont Preach. Anyone else not like song which was number one when they were born.

Gary Glitter's "I Love You Love Me Love"

I have no nonce tendencies, I wish to point out.

Just before Madonna's Vogue!
The Power, it would have been. If you care. ;)

I'm saying nowt.

By the way, mine is Son of my Father by Chicory Tip.

How apt. The title, not the artist.
Everyone hears what you say,
Friends listen to what you say,
Best friends listen to what you don't say.

Communards - Don't leave me this way.

The other bloke from the communards works in the boston church, down the road from here.

One of the few 80's hits I haven't got on vinyl!

Gary Glitter's "I'm the Leader of the Gang (I Am)". Now that's what I call a criminal record! I do have a copy - I got it in the last job lot of 7"s I bought, along with about 500 other singles (six of which were "It's A Love Thing" by the Whispers).
