Freda Payne - Band Of Gold (no, I haven't a clue either)
However, if I'd been born +/- a couple of months, I could have had Mungo Jerry - In the Summertime, Elvis Presley - The Wonder of You, or Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child!

Doctor & The Medics - Spirit In The Sky
Im not a fan of this song but I like the number ones either side of it. Before it was the Chicken Song - Spitting Image and after it was Madonna - Papa Dont Preach. Anyone else not like song which was number one when they were born.

Best friends listen to what you don't say.

Gary Glitter's "I'm the Leader of the Gang (I Am)". Now that's what I call a criminal record! I do have a copy - I got it in the last job lot of 7"s I bought, along with about 500 other singles (six of which were "It's A Love Thing" by the Whispers).
