A page about the history of the station and various logos is here.
There's also an MP3 at the bottom with various audio imaging from across the decades.

Seeing as we're talking about Edinburgh here at the moment, how about a future possible Jenners -> House of Fraser rebrand? They've said it won't happen, but I think that was maybe just to stop the posh grannies choking on their afternoon tea and cakes.
Well i supose i'll be choking along with those grannies too cause that change would be like Harrods of london becomming a Matalan. I very rarly show their but it i'd be a shame to see it go. it's a famous Edinburgh shop neé landmark after all.

BTW, thanks for the link. MAX AM was one of my fav radio stations (I still miss Bill Barkly's Afternoon show) FORTH2 is CRAP by comparison (even though it's the same company). i remember when it changed, it was a valantines day.

(God sake, what a nerdy 18yo I AM :P )

BTW I have missed out certain variations as some of the early ones were much-a-muchness (that probably made no sense whatsoever)

And Interestingly, Trent FM Derbyshire has now become RAM FM, Trent FM's rival station!

Sorry to take this off topic but...

What does this mean for the radio statiosn, I take it BRMB, Red Dragon, etc will become:

Capital FM Birmingham
Capital FM Cardiff, etc.

I'm not sure myself, johnny.

I wonder if the GWR stations will be re-branded as part of this merger? Could we be seeing Capital Nottingham, Capital Derby etc. instead of Trent FM, Ram FM?

And as for 106 Century FM, I don't know what is happening with that but I think they are selling it to a different 'group' altogether. It is one of the best stations in my area so I hope they maintain the standards it has built up.

Does this also include Century Digital, BTW I like the fact that "Chorely FM" still has the old mock Century logo

As far as I am aware, it is just the East Midlands 106 Century FM that they are getting rid of, possibly due to the fact they'd have 4 or 5 very similar stations in the same area: Trent, Ram, Leicster Sound and Century - now all part of the same company.
