Nothing sarcastic about that at all. Maybe a little tabloidy, but for a lot of commercial radio stations that works well. It depends on the target audience of the station.

Agreed - thing to remember is that Fosseway Radio's target audience is somewhat more refined - than that of, say, a GWR station. The DJs and newsreaders are generally a lot more friendly and "personal" - you feel like you're being talked to, not at.

I find virtually all music DJs far short of "cracking".

Listening to these twats is like Heat magazine for the ears. Pathetic.

But of course I can't help but think we're all missing the real issue here. Rod likes his photos, and James Martin likes his demos...I've actually come to look forward to them. In fact, I can tell you that I was absolutely RAMMED because of it. Doesn't make sense? It's not supposed to...

I need another cracking demo!!
