Nice spot. Was it possibly something to do with the anniversary last year?ph2o wrote: Fri 01 Aug, 2025 16.43 Not a rebrand of sorts but I recently noticed the addition of a 'Since 1974' on the signage of McDonald's.
This is McDonald's in Woolwich which I know is the first ever Maccy's in the UK so I wonder if it's a one off.
There is a special recognition plaque on the left next to the Deliveroo guy.

Another High Street Rebrand
I've just had a letter from Halifax still proudly sporting their old logo.thegeek wrote: Tue 08 Aug, 2023 13.58I normally log in to Bank of Scotland's online banking, but had cause to use the Halifax-skinned version of it today, and see that they're still using the old branding on there. I mean, it's only been four years. Why rush these things?JAS84 wrote: Sat 06 Apr, 2019 20.26 Just saw a TV ad for Halifax bank, with what looked like an updated logo on it - it's no longer stripy and has a new font.
Their online banking it still using it too, except when you go to the 'inbox' section, which is in a new style. The Lloyds online banking is the same - old logo on most of the pages, new on the inbox.
Bank of Scotland seem to have avoided this issue by not having changed their logo since 2010.
I actually still have a John Menzies paper pad and some stationary I bought from there not long before they became WHSmith, not to mention several packs of photos from back when they used to develop them-IIRC they gave you a film every time you had something developed.
