Just taking these 2 branches in Leeds city centre you have Carphone Warehouse and The Carphone Warehouse less than one mile apart on the same road.

'Carphone Warehouse' is such a misleading name. Contrary to popular belief it isn't a B&Q sized shop with aisles of obsolete '80s technology, as I found out to my dismay. In Europe it's called 'Phone House' which is a much more accurate name, both in describing what they sell and the size of the shop itself.

I was sure Currys/PC World/Carphone were heading for a rebrand as Knowhow a few years back. The branding was so heavy in Currys PC World stores in particular, and quite a strong brand too.
