May be less rebranding, more local guerilla warfare......

Another "not exactly high street" contribution... but aligning with the current trend for flat graphics in single tints of single colours.

IHG (the hotel group) goes from:

While their Holiday Inn Express brand goes from:

Are the calendars at Krispy Kreme (sorry, Cream) set two days in advance?

Apparently it's because we keep pronouncing it wrong. A bit like Jif becoming Cif but in reverse

Which makes no sense in terms of the alliteration.

Although if they want everyone to pronounce 'kreme' the American way (='cream') rather than the French way (= 'krem'), I guess it makes a sort of sense.

Seems quite strange, I've never throught about pronouncing it any way other than "cream".

I didn't realise they'd been in the UK since 2003. Only known of them for last few years.

This is a retread of the whole Pasta Hut thing then.

Krispy Kreme was indeed an April Fool.

Seems that April Fools are no longer what they used to be. In that they can go out on March 30th.
