The new iPad
I've rooted my Kindle Fire and put an Ice Cream Sandwich ROM onto it, and I have to say, it's fantastic. ICS is a fantastic Android revision, and I'm certain that it'll gain some market share. I feel like Microsoft would have been better off merging the WP7/Metro 8 lines.

Go for it, I bought Apple TV in January and mirroring from the iPad is fantastic, even if you're not a fan of mirroring, its still good say if you're using Safari and theres a video on the webpage it'll play on your TV whilst you can carry on reading on the iPad. The quality can vary from some apps more so than others, but things like TVCatchUp and BBC News videos tend to come up at a good rate.
Although the new iOS software for the Apple TV this week has made the main menu a bit sluggish, where as the previous one was faultless.

Been doing a little stock checking tonight, interesting to note there are some stocks available to pick up tomorrow, Seems either Apple have improved their launch stocks or supply has exceeded demand.

Unsurprisingly really: everyone who wants an iPad got an iPad 2 when it came out, and there's bugger all improvement with the iPad 3 - the screen wasn't low resolution to begin with (iPads are held further away than iPhones, anyway), nobody uses tablet cameras and we don't even have 4G in this bloody country.
And in return for these breathtaking enhancements it's actually a bit HEAVIER.

I've just had a look back at the original iPad thread, and well, everyone seemed to think it was going to flop! There was Gav, talking about being unable to see how it was practical, and quite a few other people, mentioning failings, with the customary Apple-cult rants. Not a flop, but a major success. I'm glad I didn't bet on it...
Oh, and cdd was an early adopter, so I can't say he was wrong...
How times have changed.
