I wonder when we'll start to see the Scottish Gas variant. Always puzzled me why they retain this trading name up here.
Just saw a new-style Scottish Gas van scooting past, so not long I guess...

In other news, Sky seem to have finally updated the livery on some of their vans. They've been running around with 'Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-rabbit' promotions on Sky Movies, and 'The Simpsons' on Sky ONC for years, along with out-dated logos, etc.

God, bigging up the "British heritage of the brand" is a bit hollow when it was only concocted within the last five years. I mean, what the feck is its function - a reminder?

designed to reflect the British heritage of the brand
A company registered on the NYSE and formed through the amalgamation of 2 companies on the NYSE (and before that several smaller companies, mostly on foreign stock exchanges). Precisely what British heritage are they talking about?

Looks icky if you ask me, overusing the flag is distinctly 'not British'. We don't need to literally wear our flag to remind ourselves of our "heritage" (a word I dislike being used in that context altogether), we are intrinsically aware of it.

I also dislike how Pleasure Beach Blackpool have plastered the Union Flag across all their (mostly foreign) rides this season - it's a park that caters for mostly domestic tourists, I don't see the need.

Hopefully it'll die down once the Olympics are out of the way.

British heritage? Does Virgin Media not class itself as a British company any more then?

A few weeks ago BT Vision got a branding redesign. The new design has BT Vision as one word and the logo also now features a play symbol. The logo is supposed to reflect the modern content available on the digital service.

Is there a VOD service *not* using a stylised play symbol in their logo?

The Official Charts Company has a new logo - can you spot the clever little number in the middle?
