My local M&S turned it's upstairs into an 'Outlet' a couple of years ago, downstairs is still a 'normal' store albeit with tiny departments - the menswear section is so small it might as well not be there. They operate as totally different stores so have big signs up telling you not to take items from one floor to another.
Round the corner there's a Matalan outlet which is a horrendous shopping experience

I'm a lifelong 7UP drinker and I like this new brand -- even though, to be honest, the brand is strong enough to survive any variation on the logo due to the simple colour scheme of green background, white 7 and red circle. Anything with that setup is guaranteed to be recognised straight away.
He really is - and very inconsistent in his judgements too. He'll viciously rip into one brand update for something almost unnoticeable, but which he'll grossly overstate as "unforgivably poor kerning" - or some equally dire and exaggerated crime - yet he'll forgive the same infraction in another new brand identity because he likes the 'playfulness' or 'whimsy' or 'colour' of it. Still, if you accept the site as the unqualified opinions of one grumpy man, I find it's much easier to enjoy the site than if it were, say, the judgement of a panel of brand professionals for an awards ceremony or industry publication. I find I get a lot more out of the comments that are shared below his reviews than from the reviews themselves.
His review of the new Eurostar branding was bizare, bemoaning its inability to be nicely reproduced in single colour 2x2 inch and then claiming about 5 lines down it was irrevelent in the modern day.

I find some of the comments left by readers bemusing too - I know we like branding here in Metro/TVF-land, and like to criticise / praise even the tiniest details, but I defy even the most battle-hardened cynical designers frequenting our pages to sink to their levels of asinine "analysis". And that includes MDTA.

I had missed the fact that Home Delivery Network Limited bought DHL Express last year, and decided to create Yodel.
Passing the old DHL Gyle depot today, I noted a big green Yodel logo on the side of the building, and a lot of yellow now unbranded former DHL vans sitting outside.
Not good news for all the depots though.

... and yet here HDNL (Yodel) are atrocious, and DPD are the kings of efficiency, goes with the local management I suppose.
