I'll answer that - it does.
Doesn't National Insurance come from both? Employees pay 11% on earnings above £110 per week, while the employer pays 12.8% above that threshold. Isn't the planned National Insurance rise 0.5% on each of these rates - therefore spreading the pain?

Does anybody know exactly where the Sky debate's being held next Thursday?

The publicity says "in the south west" but that's as specific as I've seen thus far.

They didn't say exactly where for the last one for a good while. They said "In the North West" then they said "a secret location in manchester".

WHO COULD HAVE GUESSED that it would be held at Granada

I think the BBC debate will probably come from the Albert Hall in Nottingham.

I don't think I am.

Anyway, election saturation has driven me to gambling - I've put a bet on either Cameron or Brown saying "I Agree with Nick" at least once during the second debate.

So now that I've done that, you can practically guarantee they'll disagree with every word he says.

you are talking about the brown/cameron/clegg debate aren't you, and not some bbc east midlands thing?

if so you are wrong. the final debate is taking place in birmingham.

The final debate is taking place in the East Midlands.

Birmingham isn't in the East Midlands.
