the missus said to me the other day that 'i don't ever take anything seriously'. and she's right, almost.
i've always been up for a laugh and joke.
i suppose i'd probably describe my style of humour as quite mischievous, a cross between frankie boyle and reeves and mortimer; i'm not quite as 'raw' as frankie, but not a million miles away i don't suppose. i love incongruity, absurdity, repetition and sarcasm.
i also love the reaction you get from people when you hit them with a comment or concept that's absolutely utterly stupid or just on the edge of offensiveness. it seems strange, but it's great way of finding out if somebody is on "my level", i think humour is great way of connecting with people. and of course you also realise that when you were younger at school all those boring squares were just that because they never found anything funny.
but what about you? how do you keep others amused? what's your humour like?
Your sense of humour
