Now, my DVD Recorder (a Panasonic DMR-EZ45V) unfortunately cannot set the widescreen flag correctly when recording to anything other than DVD-RAM. All the picture is present, but the DVD player thinks it is 4:3 and thus it is played in squishy-vision.
So I'm wondering whether any of you know of suitable software that I could use to change the W/S flag on a DVD-R. I don't want to change the video at all, as I don't want any degradation in quality - all I want is to set the flag to 16:9. If the software worked on Mac then that would be preferable, but I have access to Windows computers too, so it wouldn't be too much of a bother if it was Windows-only.
Anybody got any helpful advice?
