Evening,
Just a query, in terms of the clocks on the top of almost every page on Metropol. I swear Edinburgh changed to California yesterday, although now it's changed back? Also, the hour and minute hand seemed to have incorrectly swapped places on Safari.
The Clocks
I imagine the California swap was in tribute to Jack La Lanne, who died last week. Since the Hyma-decreed period of official mourning now appears to be over, it has reverted to Scottish Mean Time.Critique wrote:Evening,

Indeed, along with the changes to the picture frames. People did notice them didn't they?Alexia wrote:I imagine the California swap was in tribute to Jack La Lanne, who died last week.

As for they other claims, I can't see any problem in Safari on here and they appear on *every* page not almost every page. (Although in one of my very rare oversights, they don't line up correctly on Advanced Search but I don't think anyone has noticed yet)

Pardon my ignorance but whom is the person currently occupying the round picture frame above and to the left of Gavin?
Also, I noticed the changes, but I was including the upload service in this, where the clock isn't.
To paraphrase another Metropol-er:
Maybe it's your clocks.
Maybe it's your clocks.

And the Edinburgh clock in Internet Exploder is still showing California time.
That's MrTomServo, or Robert Palmer if you prefer. You probably didn't recognise him because you can't see the cup of tea in his hand in that picture.Alexia wrote:Pardon my ignorance but whom is the person currently occupying the round picture frame above and to the left of Gavin?
Ah I thought it was. I remember MrTomServo - he had a flashing BBC News 24 flags signature -- and he was the gentleman who ran an upload service for TVF back in the day wasn't he? Doesn't he live in America?Nick Harvey wrote:And the Edinburgh clock in Internet Exploder is still showing California time.
