i'm not a materialistic man as you know (although my boat is bigger than yours) but i'm curious as to what the following personnel who have a degree of public exposure get paid:
1) local itv/bbc tv news presenter
2) non-starring role soap star (ie, most hollyoaks actors, billy mitchell in ee etc)
3) commercial radio presenter with prime time slot
4) commercial radio presenter with graveyard slot
5) a news 24 only presenter
6) continuity announcer
any ideas?

During the MP expenses scandal an MP asked a minor BBC news channel presenter her salary she said 92k (but went on to say she wouldn't even use the phone for personal use at work let alone misuse expenses.

She's not exactly a 'minor' news channel presenter - she's worked for the corp for around 20 years and has been much more than a minor news channel presenter - China correspondent, senior broadcast journo etc.
Very few journos at the BBC have only one job being on screen. They have done, or usually do a lot more.
