Got to the stage where i lose count of the number of white hairs i have. I know i'm a hairdresser but i hate chemicals( which is why i only cut hair) so fot the past 15 years i've stayed with my natural colouring. I've just tried a colored mousse which seems to darken my natural colour but does nothing for the white hairs. I actually quite like the sparkle (natural hi lights).
So are you gonna grow old gracefully or disgracefully. I'm opting for a bit of both.

I have never known single-colour hair, having an annoying number of greys since I was like 15. It's annoying. I dislike it. It's one of the many reasons I look 40. My plan is to remain looking 40 long after I am 40 to make up for it.

They are white hairs not grey. The hair has lost it's pigmentation. It's the slow process to silvery white hair that bothers me. IUnless i develop a Mortitia Adamms streak. ( that would be soo cool)

They're clear, not white. I heard that from some chap on the telly, but yes they're without pigment.

I'm getting a dye job soon. I'll upload a pic when done. Used to dye my hair a lot when I was younger and the peroxide has the effect of making my hair appear thicker (it makes the hair porous an bulks it up).

As I'm kind of strawberry blonde (not quite a proper redhead) its unlikely I'll lose much pigment. No grey/clear hairs yet.

Pluck a white/grey/clear hair from your head. Hold it against something black and it will be white.

I will defer to your experience with hair.

Pluck a white hair from your head and three will grow in their place.

Like a hydra.

Except three times not seven.

And not heads regrowing.

Oh you know what I mean...

i think it depends on how it looks, i know several ladies who have grey hairs, despite being less than 30. if they look grey to the average person, i'd say colour them. ladies with grey hair seem to look much older than their male counterparts, in my opinion.

i think young men can get away with grey hair much easier than young women can.

And is that a lovely lady you're eyeing reflected in those sunglasses, Nick?

Possible, but I really can't remember. It's probably somebody "doing wireless" in the old sense of the phrase.
