I'd like to say first that I feel that this merits a new thread, and also that it'll get more publicity here

Okay, I today launch the first ever Metropol Conservative Competiton, where the competition is for the best conservative poster (In terms of creativity and humour).

If this is a success, entries will no longer be accepted after Valentines Day (Feb 14th) and results will be announced the following Monday. Please take a shot, you could just win, and also, you can use whatever tomfoolery you like, replacing David Cameron with a orange if you really need too.

I'm being optimistic here, and this thread could be gone in a few minutes if it is a failure.

But anyway,

The judges:

Myself (GMTV2009)

And, anyone else who wishes to apply for a judging position.

Good luck!

I'm struggling to understand:

a) the point

b) why this "competition" couldn't be kept in the other thread, when it is essentially the same thing

I think that discussion of this thread's merit needs to be in a fourth thread, given that the third would be dedicated to discussion of the pictures.

please respond.

Competitions bearing the Metropol name must first be approved by the executive.

I'm afraid I have no choice but to close it. Unofficial comments, such as, "awesome", "hyterical", and "i peed mi pnts  " will be allowed in the existing thread.
