I need to trim the start of some video by a few frames so it will synch with my audio recording - unfortunately the software I am using only works to 10th of a second - anyone got any suggestions?

I think I have missed something, unless you think I am doubtingyour ability to work in like that - I am not , its my ability I have issues with.

Will see what Vegas is like - it needs to show the audio track as a waveform as I am trying to synch two audio sources.

I managed to get Vegas to trim it as I needed it - but I am putting it all together in Pinnacle as that's all I really know how to use.

TSK - Pinnacle is for housewives.

Vegas is one of those applications that you will learn to use from just using it.

Not at all Sput, I am quoting what Chie said about Pinnacle.

From the product's very own website:
“The video editing market isn’t just growing vertically, it’s growing horizontally,” said Jon Peddie, president of Jon Peddie Research (JPR), a leading market research firm based in Tiburon, California: “New markets have emerged led by casual and younger users who simply want to quickly edit their videos and post them to the Web, women who have become the designated memory keepers in the family, and the growing number of people over 50 who are becoming video hobbyists. The people in these new markets don’t want to deal with a complicated application; they just want the fun of quickly creating videos that are entertaining. Clearly, Pinnacle Systems’ customer-driven approach has helped it unlock opportunities in these emerging markets.”
