Recycle Bin problem

My Recycle Bin keeps asking me if I'm sure I want to delete all 5 files, which I continually do, but the Recycle Bin is empty, or at least not showing any files. I've tried deleting the hidden RECYCLER folder, showing hidden and protected files, but still nothing. Any advice?

have you tried emptying it in safe mode?

I always force that sort of thing by doing it in DOS; though that's probably very similar to doing it in safe mode.

Might be worth a try. At least you don't need to reboot to try DOS.
