The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
I was reading The Metro yesterday, and I have to praise the retro clubcard advert that featured vintage packaging for a few products. Got a kick out of me seeing that. Wish they actually were selling retro packaged items.
They are, some in my local include Pepsi, Robinson's, Tango, Wagon Wheels, Rocky.Blewatter wrote: Wed 02 Apr, 2025 14.52 I was reading The Metro yesterday, and I have to praise the retro clubcard advert that featured vintage packaging for a few products. Curiously though, my local Tesco flagged the retro Pepsi as restricted to 16 and over when I'm pretty sure the ingredients are identical to the normal one.

With M&S confessing to a cyber attack over Easter, I went into my nearest M&S Food to use the self checkouts.
Out of 8 self checkouts, only three were working and while it was fine to scan barcodes, scanning the Sparks card took at least 15 seconds to register and around 30 seconds to get chip and pin to process as contactless is still down.
