I suppose this is more suited to here than over at the other place...
Anyone else addicted to the current series of The Apprentice? I really don't know where they get the candidates from, most of them seem to lack any sense of self-awareness. There are a couple, though, that I'd like to see go far in the series... my absolute favourite is Lucinda, I think she made a fantastic project manager of a difficult team, and her entire attitude to the task was perfect. My other favourite is Lee - we haven't seen a great deal of him yet, and he hasn't been a project manager, but he speaks a lot of sense and I'd love to see how he copes in charge.
Any other fans? And who are everyone's favourites?

Can't stand Lee, but can't decide whether that is just down to his accent or something more deep rooted!
I think Alex could do quite well, seems to be down to earth and quietly getting on with stuff. I think all the women (except maybe Sara and Lucinda) should be ashamed of themselves, they don't seem to be any better that a bunch of teenage girls with their gang-like antics. The worst part of that is it seems to be spreading to the rest of the group as they try to single out the weaker individuals.
I only watched last week's episode last night and I was a bit annoyed with some of the blatant editing. It made Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares USA look smooth and unbiased.

I'm completely hooked on the show once again. I have a crush on Michael Sophocles. He's adorable.
But he indulges far too much in that god awful "I'm incredibly self-driven and talented"-type pseudospeak. Ugh. Jenny is probably the most horrible of all candidates in all of the series', nothing but a shit stirrer.Gavin Scott wrote:I'm completely hooked on the show once again. Yes but to be fair they're all forced to trot out 10 minutes worth of self-congratulatory waffle so it can be cut up and used throughout the series. The worst of it is saved as a stick for Adrian to beat them with on "You're Fired".noelfirl wrote:But he indulges far too much in that god awful "I'm incredibly self-driven and talented"-type pseudospeak. Jenny is a loathsome bitch, I agree.
I'm looking forward to meeting Lucinda (friend of a friend), and asking if she happened to take Michael's telephone number.
If you don't ask you don't get.

I'm not really sure how you "launch" a "secret romance".

He's got a lovely face and looks good in a tank top. If I wanted apostrophes placing I'd do that myself.marksi wrote:Oh come on. You have better taste than that anyway. This is a man who phones the editor of the Daily Telegraph to ask for advice on apostrophes. On television.
Strangely, it kinda spoils reality shows for me if I fancy any of the participants.
Big Brother is an example. Spent last summer lusting after Liam. Still like Pete from the year before. Or was it the year before that? I lose track of these things. Then there was Anthony. Thick as shit but you would.
Am hoping I dislike them all intensely this year. It's better fun that way.
