Travel advice please
Hello lads and lasses, I'm in search of some travel advice. I'm currently planning a week or so of cityhopping around a bit of Europe - in particular, the nations of the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria and Hungrary. I'm currently planning how long to spend in each bit, what to do, as cheaply as possible etc. I'm wondering whether anyone here has been to Brno, Vienna, Bratislava or Budapest, or if you know anything about these places? I think I may have to take Prague out from the itinerary due to its location compared to the others. Also - I have a slightly mental idea of tying this mini-trip up with another planned trip to Copenhagen. I'm not sure whether it would be feasible (in terms of cost or timeliness) but I thought I'd throw the idea out there in case anyone knows otherwise.
I've been to Budapest and it's very easy to get around, the Public transport is excellent, although when I went last Summer they were digging huge holes in the road due to the expansion of the Underground network, but they have a superb tram network. Anyway whilst you're there I do recommend to go to Parliament, Heroes square which is really huge, the main Chain bridge over the Danube, there's also a Terror museum, I didn't go but my girlfriend tells me it's really worth a visit. The shops are also good aswell, many stores you recognise are there too.
Alot of people do speak English, but watch yourself as there's alot of homeless people, but as a city it's really worth a visit.

I know of one person who did three capitals in one day ... for the hell of it.
Woke in Bratislava, had lunch in Vienna and Dinner in Budapest. If you fly into Vienna travel to either is simplicity. It might be cheaper to use Bratislava though as a staging point, but I have no experience of that personally.
Vienna was a doddle to get into from the Airport as you can see from this map :-
Wien Schwechat - Flughafen
Good luck... as for adding Copenhagen to the itinary the three you've chosen will occupy you for much longer than you think.

I'm slightly confused; you mentioned Slovenia, but then listed Bratislava as one of your potential destinations. Of course, Bratislava is in Slovakia, a country to the east of Austria, whereas Slovenia is to the south of Austria.
If you did mean Slovenia, I would be very happy to help you out; just let me know what you are interested in.
