Up to much? I'm still adjusting to the fact that I've done bugger all, had a lie in, and it's only Friday.

Not doing much at all except tottering around the house doing a bit of hoovering, dusting and washing.Oh and i watched the Magic roundabout movie. Looking forward to the first bit of decent snow this winter that we've been promised for this weekend.
I might even pop along to Canterbury Cathedral on Sunday for the Archbishops service.

My neighbours seem to have done a big shop at the local Lidl. Its gardening week. All i can hear is sawing, hammering and lawnmowering. * weirdos* Mind you lots of fence panels came down during the great storm of 2008 to fix. Not ours though. Our garden fence is so rickety i'm surprised it survived the force 12 gusts.

I'm also doing bugger all (even more than usual), since bank holidays have no meaning when you're living the student life. No doubt I'll be eternally grateful for their existence come next year when I'm in a high flying graduate job (ha!).

I might actually go out and do something for a change.

Well, besides the fact that I have to go out and buy chocolate this afternoon (having not done my easter shopping yet), I've been spending a bit of time this long weekend skateboarding. I don't know why I enjoy it so much - I'm rubbish at it. Until this month, I pretty much hadn't touched my board for over a year - such was my level of embarrassment - but finally concluded there wasn't much point worrying about what others think. We'll see how long that lasts though.

My weekend was a bit of a washout in many ways.

Anyhoo...

I ordered a pizza from Dominos on Friday via the online service. Inexplicably it wouldn't accept my card online so they didn't deliver - however this morning my card is choked with "pending payments" totalling 40 odd quid from... Dominos. I wasn't a greedy guts - its the same payment taken 3 times.

Just spoke with their area manager who said, "leave it 5 mins, phone the branch and tell them to stick the money back on your card".

I'm glad I thought to phone the bank and check.
