So I assume we're now clear to talk about him?

Don't think I've ever been particularly worried whether he's reading or not.

I tend to say things anyway.
Nick Harvey, in another thread, wrote:I'm sure Simon Luxton's original user name on TV Forum was Simon Luxton, until we all started taking the piss out of the name Simon Luxton and the fact that he was in his thirties, yet still lived with his parents at an address which I won't publicise, but is freely available at 192.com, in Bideford, North Devon.

He then changed his user name from Simon Luxton to tvarksouthwest, in the hope that we wouldn't realise that tvarksouthwest was still Simon Luxton of Bideford, North Devon.

It was some time after he changed his user name from Simon Luxton to tvarksouthwest that he requested that the word Luxton, part of his name, Simon Luxton, be added to the swear filter on TV Forum. For some strange reason, about as understandable as many of his other decisions, the sadministrator of TV Forum added the word Luxton to the filter.

Of course. I'd like to get a nice Kappa tracksuit. Where might I be able to obtain one?

Be interesting to see if he hears of this thread given the restricted reading rights on the board.

Its the audacious lies he spouted in that scandal thread that angered me. He claimed, "But my earlier point was merely that news stories like these naturally shock and surprise people. Nothing more."

What was actually said was:

"I always thought he was a nice bloke", said one member.

"That's what they said about [insert children's presenter's name also embroiled in drug scandal]", replied Simon.

I'm no lawyer, but it was patently obvious what he was implying. After denying it he said, "Other forums are being completely reckless in what they are allowing to be written about this matter, and our dear friends the tabloid press will of course never let the facts get in the way of a good story."

What an idiot. And a liar to boot. He certainly gives value.

I might add that he deleted his, "Why didn't you report Jugalug.. delete my Metropol account" line before I had a chance to quote him (as is his way).

Sadly for him I have a photographic memory and was able to quote him anyway.

I remember one time not long after I joined, I used the word "cancer" in a post. After reading it, he publicly, and randomly, asked why Nick Harvey wasn't having a go at me for it. He told me via PM, that one time, he'd used the word in a thread title and that Nick "practically held a gun to my head" requesting it to be changed, and felt I should receive similar treatment.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

Hehe, I did happen to mention that the knives were out over here. He's now PMd me asking what's being said. I told him nothing had been said until he'd demanded his account be removed. He then PMd me again thanking me for my response and asking what's being said about him.

Christ, he's insistent. I'm just ignoring him. What's his beef with Ofcom by the way?
