I've been rooting about in the loft trying to locate the christmas decs today. Might get round to putting them up by the weekend.

Anyone got theirs up yet?

Our flat's has been rather...staggered, and on a budget.
Still, it's an improvement, even after the flat above us stole our wreath *sob*.

I think people should put theirs up the weekend before Christmas Day.

This year will be no different, so my little tree and a few lights will go up on Saturday, 21 December.

The weirdos I see putting them up as they take down the Halloween pumpkins are frankly, in my opinion, completely mental.

Mine always go up on the first of December, the same day the christmas countdown starts.

We put ours up on about 26th November, just to ease that winter gloom.

My advice is get down to Poundland. We decked out our tree with some lovely stuff and got some extra things to go all over the walls for a grand total of 3 quid. Really classy looking stuff too, nothing council estate about it.

Not putting any up this year, there's no point really. Christmas Day will be like any normal day for me. Few beers, watch TV and sleep.

It's not that I'm a scrooge Hyma, it's just my family are away this year, and as I'll be on my own for the first time over Christmas, I won't be doing anything special.
