Meh, we're not gonna use them and at it'll keep a few people in work by continuing development. Plus, what real effect would getting rid of them have aside from giving us a sense of self-satisfaction? It's not like there'll be some kind of international domino effect resulting in world peace. More to lose than to gain by ditching it, IMHO.

To work in the nuclear industry it appears you need to be at least half bald and I'm afraid I don't yet meet that condition!

I cut someones hair who works at Dungerness power plant. He's got tons of thick hair. Apparently the work is easy peasy. The site is closed now but this chap pretty much has a job for life. Infact there are more people working there now than there was when it was working.

And the plus side is if you're a keen twitcher you'll love the time stuck out in the middle of nowhere. If you're not you soon will be, as there is nothing else to do except bait digging.
