Diet Coke are running a free iTunes offer on their bottles.

Such is my distaste for iTunes, I don't particularly need or want the free codes, so I thought someone here might like them before I pop them in a bin.

You need to have iTunes installed on your machine and register at

http://www.coca-cola.co.uk/music

You need to have a valid email address, and the offer is limited to 5 per customer (per email address if you have more than one).

I'll drop the codes I have here, and more will follow given my 4 Litre a day habit. If you want them, take them. I guess they will only work once, so whoever is quick will get them. Might be a good idea to post what codes are used below to save people wasting time.

LCHMLJJHRXMT

XNGMMNFFFPFD

SJJRTLBRRBRP

FXDWMLLXPFJJ

GBJXBDMNZTTH

I'm sure there shouldn't be any legal issue over passing these on, as I purchased the product in good faith and therefore I beleive the codes are mine to gift to others.

However, should anyone be aware of a reason why I may not do this, please let me know.

(I actually did pop them in the bin. I wish I hadn't put them with emptied ashtrays - now I need to hoover)

You're welcome, Lee.

Just restocked the fridge, so there will be another couple soon enough.

Is it only diet coke that's doing this offer?

Also why do you drink Diet Coke when Coke Zero is on offer and tastes much more like real coke.

Coca-Cola also appear to be running the promotion.

As Bail correctly surmised, I find Coke (including "Zero") far too sickly sweet, and it stains your tongue with the caramel/caramel substitue. At least, it does when you drink as much of it as I do.

I've been drinking no-calorie drinks since way before Diet Coke was invented. Kingfisher's "Diabetic Cola", then "Tab", then "One-Cal", then Diet Coke was launched. Yes, I really am that old. Diet Coke is 99.7% water, and my doctor is very pleased that I drink so much of it. Good for the skin, you know.

There may also be some truth to the story that some men refuse to drink things with "diet" in the title, as there is a negative (un-manly I suppose) connotation attached; hence Pepsi launching "Max" a couple of years ago. Surprised it took the Coca-Cola company so long to follow suit.

I had exactly the same problem. Try turning of Norton, or your firewall and it'll work.
