Indeed. He did do a lot of work for the environment as well as providing a decent TV programme.

it's funny, thinking about it logically steve was always going to be mauled, eaten or stung to death at some point but it's always a suprise when it happens.
of course he leaves behind a wife and two young children which is a tragedy and very sad. but i'll be honest, i didn't rate him too highly and found his over enthusiasm nauseating.
