Indeed. He did do a lot of work for the environment as well as providing a decent TV programme.

it's funny, thinking about it logically steve was always going to be mauled, eaten or stung to death at some point but it's always a suprise when it happens.

of course he leaves behind a wife and two young children which is a tragedy and very sad. but i'll be honest, i didn't rate him too highly and found his over enthusiasm nauseating.

That was a bit of an anti climax... I thought they were going to be really tasteless.

It was only a matter of time before the wild animals of the planet got their revenge on Steve Urwin. He was cool but a bloody fool.
