For a while I've been trying to record recorded programmes to DVD overnight so I'm not stuck watching them all day. However somehow, twice, it has decided to stop and change channels.
First incident was when the playback went to the Sky+ planner, returned to regular viewing to ITV1, and kept pressing 6 by itself for a few seconds.
Second time, it stopped again and decided to turn to E4.
It's not the first time that my Sky+ trys to do things by itself. Many many times I've been fast forwarding and it decides to bring up the Help box. Could this be a box fault, control fault or.. what?

Sounds like a "noisey" low energy lightbulb sending out rubbish that the box thinks is a message from the remote control.
