Hello
For years any sound I hear on my computer, alot of it I like to save. However, the only way I can is by plonking the microphone infront of the speaker, which doesn't always come out in the best quality. Has anybody got any ideas on how I can capture sound from my computer that I cannot save?
Many thanks

For the recording dialog in Volume Control, set it to something that includes the word "Mix" in it, as there's a 99% chance that that's the one you need for the computer to listen to all of the sources (Mic, CD, Aux, etc) at the same time.
From what I understand it may well be impossible to do in Vista because it will utilise Memory Curtailing and IO protection (there's an article about it in Wikipedia). As usual, I may be wrong though, and if I am Sput has the privilege of pointing me out!
