I currently save all my music using the MP4/AAC codec in winamp as I feel it gives pleasant sound.
I use the plainer version of AAC none of this aac+ crap because it doesn't work in iTunes.
I'm wondering however. i have WMP set to play all file types. Therefore when I double click on Nick Harvey Megamix.mp3 it opens in WMP.
How much worse is MP3 at 320 than MP4 at 320?
The reason I am asking rather than just playing is two fold.
Firstly coz I'm lazy
and secondly because even though I have a 5.1 sound card. I only have two shitty little speakers and don't think they can do it justice.
Answers on a postcard.

I think my eyes decieve me. I didn't understand very much of that. I understood music. I just use real player with JVC headphones or my stereo. Wish i had a record player ( in Mr. Nicks case Grammaphone) i miss the crackle of vinyl.
