When, where and why?
90's, by association only, the walk gives it away.

1992 - Had my birthday mentioned with picture on TV-am
1996 - Was being told off by a security guard at the Albert Dock, with Judy Finnigan and Denise Robertson sitting by the Window nearest to, though I didn't see what happened on TV, I presumed it was Live.
2002 - I might have been on Sky News, a reporter came to my village talking about the Queens Jubilee, as there was archive footage of the village during the Coronation.
2006 - In the Daily Star, Metro and Heat for being about 7 or 8 people away from David Beckham in Manchester.

Here's my (rather low key) list of television appearances:

1986 TSW - Visible in a background of news item when Ian Stirling and Gus Honeybun visited Homeworld in Pool (still have the picture and my 'Watch Gus on TSW Badge' in my collectection of treasured possessions.

1995 BBC South West - Visible in background during location edition of Spotlight at the Royal Cornwall Show.

1998 Westcountry Television - Visible in several crowd shots of Westcountry's coverage of th Rugby Final at Twickenham (as an aside, this was probably one of the last productions of it's kind - an ITV station ditching 4 hours of saturday network schedule, even cutting slightly into prime time and being able to trundle people and equipment to the other end of the country and stage *full* live coverage of a sports event which was of no wider network interest - yet barely over a year later Westcountry wouldn't operate under it's own name any more and this sort of venture would be completely out of the question).

2000 BBC South West - in what turned out to be one of the last ever outings for the amazing 1999 look before corporate shite took hold, they ran a feature on my sixth form's technology provision. Guess what? I was visible in a background shot.

2005 BBC South West - After the shocking decision by arrogant University of Plymouth governors to close 'the Exmouth campus' - formerly Rolle College (and usually still referred to as such outside of the Plymouth Uni marketing machine), still one of the most recognised and respected names in teaching training in the country, *was actually interviewed and spoke* outisde the college following the confirmation of the closure - and then didn't show my contribution!

So out of the 5 occasions that the cameras were rolling at me, the only occasions when I was the focus and not just someone in the background wasn't even televisied! Hmm, should never hope to be anything more than an extra then I guess...

Your Shout. One of those local programmes that came on about five minutes before the main news. It was about our school. I didn't see myself, but my grandparents did.

Still, I can dream...
