Digital TV

Hi,

I posted this on TV Forum originally, but so far have not had a reply, hope you guys can help...
I've already got freeview, but I'm looking for something new. The NTL bundle deals sound appealing (phone, broadband and tv) or would I be better off with sky? I've heard abouot freesat-from-sky, but do you get all the channels that you can get on freeview and are the 'extra' channels any good. I've also heard that you get the interactive services with it too, e.g. sky news active, are these worth getting sky for, or can you get them with another provider. I live in SE London if that helps for providers like Telewest or others.

What are your experiences?

If you go for Freesat from Sky you have to pay them £150 for the box and installation. There is no ongoing subscription cost. Cost for one year - £150.

If you take a subscription at the lowest rate (£15 per month for 2 mixes, first 3 months half price) the box and installation is free. Cost for one year is therefore £157.50.

So, for £7.50, you get 12 months subscription to 2 channel mixes.

You can always cancel at the end of the 12 months if you don't want to carry on with the subscription channels.
