Megabowl in Newport closed suddenly today. The bayliffs turned up and repossessed the arcade games and fixtures. A sign has appeared at the door saying "Megabowl - in receivership. No longer trading in this building."
Has Megabowl gone bust??

If you cannot access that, it says MEGABOWL LIMITED is in administration.
MEGABOWL GROUP LIMITED seems to be active.
EDIT: I note calling my local as in 60 miles away megabowl gives me "press 1 to choose a bowl, press 2 for this etc"
Ringing the newport megabowl just rings and rings, no recording.
EDIT AGAIN: got through to a man at the milton keynes megabowl, i don't know if this is lies or not but he said that they do not trade as megabowl limited, and the site that closed (did not say what site) was because it was ran independently and it was a low-profit site. (he said they trade as tenpin limited which seems to be correct)

This made me laff in the local Newspaper with regards to Megabowl and the cancellation of Enimem at the Milton Keynes Bowl...
Typical local newspaper stuff eh!Dozens of disappointed Eminem fans demanded information and refunds from... Milton Keynes Megabowl, instead of the National Bowl. The confusion arose after a directory enquiries company gave out the wrong number.
And as a way of making it up to the despondent punters the bowling alley is offering FREE bowling session and a FREE packet of M&Ms per ticket holder on the days of the cancelled gigs - Sept 9 and 10.
Chris Mills, sales manager at the Megabowl, said "One lady was in tears saying she couldn't believe it was cancelled. There was one bloke from Manchester who was quite irate and didn't believe we were a bowling alley and he was calling me all kinds of things"
"Someone asked if we were getting Eminem to play, I don't think we could even get his entourage in - we only hold 300"
