I am SURE I have done this topic before...
But as the summer month's approach, I often change my choice of beverage down the watering hole.
Just yesterday as the nice weather kicked in, as I sat by the canal I decided I would go for cider, changing from my usual choice of Stella.
During the summer I also enjoy drinks such as cheeky vimtos and Southern Comfort, lime and ginger ale (in one glass - TRY IT...you'll never look back)
So what's your sunshine drink of choice?
What's your poison?
On that note, can I just conduct a quick straw poll among the wonderful members of this place:Jamez wrote:Red Bull & Vodka (NEVER EVER mix it with Whiskey - it will make your head explode!)

Red Bull and vodka for me too. Has that nice effect of getting you sloshed, whilst still feeling remarkably energetic. 8)

i do like a vodka redbull, except in certain drinking establishments in my area, it can cost £7.
usually on a night out, i'd start with a bud or stella
after 3, i'd have an aftershock
more bud, then once it's time for last orders, i'll get a vodka redbull or vodka and coke.
it's then over to the 'club' where the vodka/coke drinking will commence until i order an orgasmatron (cheese and bacon pizza with no tomato)

Generally I enjoy a refreshing Dry Blackthorn. If a spirit is in order then nothing but a voddy and red bull seems to spring to mind these days. It tastes good and gives an amphetamine-like buffer against getting sloshed too quickly.
As for smelling of strawberrys, I really don't know. But I think CK Obsession smells of tangerines, so I'm not the one to ask.

An interesting question.
I don't change drink by season. The only thing the seasons do to me is very occasionally make me hot enough to down a pint of weak (Wadworth's IPA) shandy on a hot summer day when I'm very thirsty.
I started my drinking life on vodka for just a year or so; got totally out of my mind on a whole bottle of the stuff one evening and had to be coaxed back indoors one night in Greatstone-on-Sea, near New Romney in Kent, after (reportedly) having a deep, meaningful discussion with a lamp-post.
I then spent about forty happy years drinking large quantities of scotch, until I suddenly (whilst feeling poorly for other reasons) found I couldn't stand the taste any more.
Since autumn of 2000 I've been on the red wine (see glass in picture on left) and am continuing to enjoy it.

Have to say tis Vodka for me, with anything, (well just about) Coke, Red Bull, Lemonade, Ribeana... That is if I actually plan to get pissed in any way. I can't get drunk on pints these days, get me too bloated which slows my drinking and I need quite a bit to get me drunk. I do drink them, but just a few to start the night off or if I'm just down the pub for a few. But Yes Vodka for me.

Nasty!
I love nastys...
Half a pint of beer, half a pint of cider and blackcurrant cordial.
Has many different names (Snakebite and black, Purple) and gets you pretty plasterd. Taste funky too.
