People have been telling me for a couple of weeks now to watch 'Traffic Cops' on Monday night on BBC1, so I did so tonight. For those who don't know it's a documentary that follows the Traffic Police around Cheshire, and mainly my homeland of Warrington.

I happened to see a complete knob-head from my year at school on there tonight, being done by the Police for going fast down a narrow Country lane and making the opposite car steer into a canal (no-one was injured), but it just made me laugh and made me smile to see what goes around comes around, being bollocked on National TV. :D

Anyone care to share any others?

My mother also noticed that the Policeman didn't have much knowledge about the Local area, as there are plenty of alternatives to use when the Bridge over the Ship Canal is closed.

From what I saw (last weeks edition) the show should be called "Traffic Cops vs Chavs On Wheels" . . . !

An interesting point is that up until recently, police could bypass that particular problem by saying they are still able to drive with due care and attention... pulling up somebody for using their mobile was technically because they were driving without due care and attention and NOT specifically for using their mobile. Now they've passed that law, I'm not sure anymore...
