All day long today the news channels have been LIVERPOOL, LIVERPOOL, LIVERPOOL mad, and I'm just about well and truely pissed off with it.
Today must have been an extremely slow news day, because for anyone who hates football like me, will find this coverage far too OTT, and boring.
The BBC has devoted more coverage to Liverpool's dodgy penalty victory in one day, than any of the major news stories in recent weeks.
Fuck off you scouse scumbags

I'm pissed off too because Arsenal never got this amount of coverage at the weekend.
Mental anxiety, Mental breakdowns, Menstrual cramps, Menopause... Did you ever notice how all our problems begin with Men?
I was just going to say that as well. But I suppose the fact that they scored goals in the game, made a dramatic comeback & we didn't may be the reasonmiss hellfire wrote:I'm pissed off too because Arsenal never got this amount of coverage at the weekend.

Got to totally agree with you Jamez. I really could not give a toss whether Liverpool have won the football or not, and the amount of coverage it has got today is just ridiculous - nearly 10 minutes on the 10pm BBC News and probably countless more in the sports news as well.
The fact that the Champions League is more important than the FA Cup and Arsenal always win the FA Cup is the reason why there is more coverage. If Arsenal won it, there would be much more coverage.miss hellfire wrote:I'm pissed off too because Arsenal never got this amount of coverage at the weekend.

* excuse me if i'm a bit incoherant, i'm on the vino and got anastacia blaring through my headphones) * That's a fair point you make. Also ,not forgetting the fact that Liverpool don't get a chance to defend their title. That is just wrong.edward wrote:The fact that the Champions League is more important than the FA Cup and Arsenal always win the FA Cup is the reason why there is more coverage. Never mind the football.
The England cricket team are already well ahead, and with only one wicket down.

Believe me you're glad you're not in the North West right now, both last night and tonight it has dominated the whole of both North West Tonight and Granada Reports. Even though loads of people tend to Liverpool bash, I couldn't help but notice the sheer amount of people wearing Liverpool tops today aswell.Jamez wrote:All day long today the news channels have been LIVERPOOL, LIVERPOOL, LIVERPOOL mad, and I'm just about well and truely pissed off with it.

It was a good game don't get me wrong, and it's good to see the Champions League in England, but it's been over-hyped.
(Plus I support Manchester United to top it all off
