Free one year of updates, my subscription to Norton AV ran out, and i stumbled across this - even found some things that snuck past norton av, and it uses a *lot* less memory.

This is generally Norton's behaviour.
"Ooh, a virus. I've found a virus but I'm not going to do anything about it."
