In search of some software...

I am looking for software that streams music from my PC, probably in the style of MMS Windows Media thingy.

Essentially, I want something that does what Mixmeister does - you give your mate your IP address, they enter it into Windows Media Player and, hey presto, they hear whatever you're playing.

However, Mixmeister has spectacularly cocked up and I wonder if you people know of any alternatives that don't require a staggering amount of technical wizardry.

Any ideas?

Something like Windows Media Encoder? It does audio only if that's what you need.

You could get Shoutcast. All your mate would need is Winamp. Just to let you know, if you did what you want to you would be breaking the law.
