Free forum software that uses a text file database?

i'm setting up a technical support forum on my website (not yet ready, but i'm going to release a lot of my software for download), but my host doesn't support mysql databases (well, it does, but it costs extra).

i've tried yabb, but it's horrible, anybody else got any ideas?

vBulletin used to support FTFs ages ago, although I think they only support My SQL/M$ SQL now.
