I'm looking for a way of extracting the audio from a dvd so as to have it on mp3 format. Decided some of my dvd collection would be good for an ipod for those long journeys.
Anyone know the best way of doing it?

im not sure what file types the ipod supports, but when the dvd is extracted to mpg, you could always load it into WMM2 and save the audio seperatly and convert it to MP3?
maybe thats just a lil too longwinded..

Thanks for the suggestions.
In the end I must have downloaded about 20 different programs with varying degrees of success. In the end I settled for '#1 DVD Audio Ripper' - does what it says on the tin without crashing the pc and has a nice clean interface.
