Please prevent me from pulling out what little hair I have left...

Trying to log into MSN Messenger but I'm being told that my:

"Microsoft® .NET Passport was temporarily unable to complete your request. Please try again later."

WHY!? It gives the same message if I just try and log in on MSN.com too. Please don't say I have to get another passport or anything like that as I don't have ANY of my contacts saved...or is it just a case of holding out and hoping it's fixed the next day?
Good Lord!

I had massive problems with my MSN Messenger a while back, turned out the password for passport was too long.

Accourding to NeoWin it was a problem with non msn.com/hotmail.com Passports only. The problem was corrected soon after.

Problem was with .Net, nothing to do with the MSN side of it.

Down again tonight, and has been all afternoon.

Anyone able to throw any more light?

It's not working on any of the computers in my house either (3 desktop PC's and 2 wireless laptops)!

Must be a problem at MSN HQ, whereever that is...

That's because you're a mental and trying to log in on a toaster.
